Spray Foam Insulation in AZ
Protect Ductwork From Extreme Tempurtures
![]()
As the picture to the left shows - it doesn't make sense to install ductwork with a thin wall of insulation in an attic that is not protected from extreme temperatures... Yet this is how every single home in Arizona is constructed. Removing the loose fill insulation and applying foam insulation to the bottom side of the roof will create an environment in the attic that will NEVER vary more than 10 degrees from the house temperature.
Prevent Uncontrolled Air Leakage Through Attic

Fiberglass insulation does not stop airflow from the house to outside environment. Air flow through the ceiling and walls is constantly happening in a home and is exacerbated on days when there is low pressure weather outside or whenever the AC or heater is blowing air. A sealed attic system with foam insulation will completely stop uncontrolled air flow through the attic - resulting in much lower utility bills.
Save Money & Increase Comfort

Net Zero Homes - homes that consume less energy than they produce - always have foam insulation in the walls and attic. In fact, its nearly impossible to build a net zero home without using foam insulation. Homes that have foam insulation are known to maintain steady consistent temperature and have low utility bills. Habitat For Humanity did a study with two identical homes, one with traditional insulation and one with foam insulation. After just 5 months, the home with foam insulation had used $547 less in utilities than the home with traditional insulation!!! See the actual study here.

You guys did a great job...
